info: Edamame are baby soybeans left in the pod. Rich in protein, carbohydrates, and dietary fiber.storage: Wrap in a loose dampened paper towel and refrigerate. Best flavor is within 24 hours, but they will keep for up to 5 days.
preparation: Wash well in cold water.
Traditionally in Japanese culture, edamame are lightly boiled in salted water - 2-5 minutes. The beans are then squeezed out of the pods and eaten.
